And so what happens is you upload a Video and YouTube goes to a processing Uh you know um whatever they're doing With processing and they also check the Video for Copyrighted content and for uh stuff That is um you know not Monetizable and so you have to pass Through two sets of of robot Checks and that takes that could take an Hour like some days it takes 24 hours Like something crazy like that like it's Just it's broken like it was taking 24 Hours for them to Process to see if there's any Copyrighted material in there and by That time the video was old like the if I'm covering something topical so um but That happened like I bet 10 or 15 videos Last year all of a sudden that you know Whatever and I can't emphasize this Enough it's when they went to this Everything's going to be machine Learning I mean that's the thing they Call machine learning where they're Using AI technology and they're using Algorithms and Bots and things like this To categorize channels and make Decisions about what you want to see and What you should see also going against The own their own data that they're Finding from you that's why you have to Recommend you really have to say hey I Really want to see this channel almost

To the point where you should complain To YouTube right and say why why are you Guys um you know I'm not going to use Your app unless you guys recommend the Channels that give me notifications from The channels of course you will anyway Cuz you have to cuz you want to watch The content but because they have this Machine learning and all these things That they do and they do it Automatically that's why people say Shadow Banning is they look at a channel And they make it like a human is sitting There making a decision oh this is a Truth or let Shadow band it it's not They just they have all this stuff that They've put in place to promote the Channels they want to promote and your Channel finds itself in a category and Then once they you know stop notifying You you don't go to that channel anymore So then they unsubscribe you and they Say oh this person doesn't want anything To do with that channel even though They're subscribed it's because they're Not notifying you or you can't keep up With the content right they punish People who make a lot of content like me Because people stop watching all the Content because they can't keep up with The content and then they get un they Stop getting notifications and then they Get unsubscribed so there's all these Factors that they do it's built into the

System right to screw you know now even More so these independent channels and So I had these talks with the algorith Right with the you know with the Bots And they said no we're not Shadow ban Then you then all of a sudden they Started to um like I gain subscribers in June it's the first time I've done that The Channel's done that there was like 120 subscribers it's always been Negative or zero like it's been um but I Haven't gained any subscribers in a Month in like three years and so it's Because they were Shadow Bing here and That's what's happening so when you guys Show interest in the channel By leaving comments hitting the like Button doing the membership programing That's good for me on a couple levels And you show that you're interested in Seeing what's being shown here and then You click on the links when they send Them to you like that's another thing When they recommend a video click on it Even if you don't watch it right away Just so you they know that oh these are You know and so that's what you have to Do and also bookmark the channel I if People are gone for two years and like Oh I forgot all about you well like you Know you you could have bookmarked it And just checked out and just searched For the channel searching is difficult Too because YouTube it you know is is
